Daisy’s new PowerLine Model 415 Pistol is a 21-shot, semi-automatic, CO2-powered BB repeater. Just load BBs into the built-in magazine, insert a CO2 cartridge into the grip and you’re ready for semi-automatic pistol shooting fun. Great for learning the techniques of gripping and shooting a firearm pistol – without the recoil and report. Open rear sight with fiber optic front sight and manual trigger block safety. With a maximum velocity of 495 feet per second, this pistol is recommended for adults and those 16 and older with adult supervision.
I think the daisy powerline 415 best resembles the Taurus PT-24/7 Tactical cartridge firing pistol. The daisy PL415 is a true semi-auto pistol, with a conveniently placed spring fed magazine on top of the barrel. I've fired thousands of steel BB rounds through my PL415 and never had a jam, or misfire! The power is impressive. I chronograph my air rifles and air pistols often, which helps see how guns perform with different ammo. Testing the power this way also helps to see if an airgun needs to be oiled, or have seals replaced etc... I own two daisy PL415's and they both consistently record chronograph results between 480-510 fps with 4.5mm Hornady black diamond 5.1 grain anodized steel airgun shot! I like shooting at night and early morning at soup cans placed on the ground in a gravel parking lot near my workplace...the near misses always cause a lot of sparks when the steel BB travelling 500 fps hits the gravel stones. This co2 pistol has a loud crack of a discharge sound when fired. Large campbells soup cans are no match for the daisy PL415, it can blast holes straight thru the soup cans while most steel BB pistols will only dent or make one entry hole. I improved the sights by painting a white dot on the front sight post and it really does help aquire targets quicker. All in all, this Daisy Powerline 415 is one of the best bargain priced entry level Co2 semi-automatic air pistols on the market today.
