Umarex and Beretta released the 4.5mm/.177cal Co2 powered variant of the new Beretta APX 9mm handgun at the same time as the 9mm was introduced to the civilian marketplace. The APX frame is made of nice solid polymer, and the slide is some type of good quality metal. The Beretta branding is engraved into the slide and there is no bright white WARNING text spoiling the slide, instead it is on the underside of the trigger guard, and it is not white, and doesn't spoil the look of this air pistol, like so many air pistols. Power is excellent for a blowback co2 pistol, and although it is not a full blowback action, like KWC's blowback replica pistols, it is very satisfying, and the manufacturers muzzle velocity claim of 400 fps is most accurate. The sights have three white dots and make plinking a blast!
